Well, today Ladies, we are taking a tour of my happy place!!
It’s no secret that I shop…I love it. I love to browse through racks and shelves, try stuff on and slip into a different character…I like being a grown up and knowing that when I buy something, that bad day I might have had helped to buy this something that makes me happy…
I know a person shouldn’t rely on material things for happiness…but I like to think of them as reminders…I used to be really bad, getting myself into thousands of dollars of debt…but my husband and I made a few good decisions and paid some things off and now we are debt free aside from a car payment and our mortgage (which I realize is debt, but that means that all the things we buy are bought and paid for)…I don’t know why I felt I needed a pre-cursor…but I figured I should since I am about to divulge my ultimate frivolity…

What a mess!!! (Oh…and should I admit…there is stuff around the other side too??? OOPS!)
Well, onto my lovelies…everytime I carry one of these, I am reminded that I am an adult and that I bought these for me…
OKAY! So here is a purple legacy half flap, a resort julianne and and a rose soho hobo…they are all quite big…I cram my bags full of crap and my shoulders hate me for it!!
My small sabrinas – pink leather and brown OP art…these are good for when I am carrying a little bit less that day…so cute!
MORE big bags – white Penelope satchel with pink ponytail scarf, brown signature Carly, Penelope lurex tote.
My factory bags – the left is a rose legacy shoulder bag…I don’t know what the one on the right is…it sure is noisy though with all the metal rings!!!

Yes…so these are my guilty pleasure…brand names aren’t the be all and end all for me, but like I said, these make me feel special!!!

Oh you lucky girl. I am obsessed with bags too. I want a Coach bag SO bad. Eric bought me a Louis Vuitton purse for my birthday in September and I do love it, but I’m ready for MORE! Haha.
I cannot get over how many boxes of SHOES you have! I need to ask, do you really wear different shoes and use a different bag every single day? That is the only thing I’m bad with, I usually feel too rushed in the morning or I’m too lazy to switch over to a new purse every day! I try to switch it up every couple of weeks though. I’m going to pull out my spring/summer purses soon!

You are hilarious. Man, I have trouble just finding one bag per season that I truly love….and you’ve got enough to keep you going for years! Lucky, lucky girl.

Amber, yes, I change my shoes up every day but my bags are usually about once a week, once every two weeks…I am usually trying to break in the leather so I have to use them a LITTLE longer…but they stay in VERY good shape because they are constantly switched out!! (And I pick out all my stuff the night before so I am not running around in the morning looking for a shoe or something…)

Jaime, sometimes I wonder how I ever got married because I often fall in love (with bags, shoes, etc.) OFTEN!!! *laughs*
RIGHT NOW my favorites are the light yellow one (it has 3 inside pockets, two open and one with a kiss lock and it is SERIOUSLY the softest bag I own…I may have hugged it a few times…) AND the Black Gigi (The tall one)…I lusted after that one for a few months (it’s the one I saw in Bride Wars) and then I bought it off eBay…it smells AMAZING and the lining is GORGEOUS silk legacy (multicolored stripes)…so those are my faves TODAY!! *laughs*

geeezzzzz……. I”m SOO in love with the fact that you even have a shoe closet. I have so little room that I have to keep my shoe collection to a minimum which means I’ve tossed so many pairs!!!
I have wanted the gigi since Bride wars too…..and I think about almost every day….

I’ll be honest, I looked at the pictures, but all I got from the descriptions is the color. The rest means absolutely nothing to me. It’s sort of hilarious to me just how girly you are. The tomboy in me rolls me eyes at a shoe and purse closet. (I hope I don’t need to appologize for that, I think you get it.)
How do you keep so many purses stock full of stuff? Or do you just dump a full purse into the next? I have 2 purses and I keep them both stocked with lipgloss, a few bucks, all the other junk we keep in purses so I only have to switch my wallet back and forth. But you couldn’t do that with all of those! (If so, I’d love to see your lip gloss collection!)

Looking at your collection makes me realize how poor I am
I basically have 4 purses – a brown one, a black one, a black work purse and a white summer bag. Only 2 are “designer”.
You deserve all your luxuries and I am drooling with envy!

Randi, I think the fact that we are so different is why we get along!
You KNOW you don’t need to apologize for the eye rolling comment!!
I keep the inside of my daily purse pretty organized where things are in little cases, wristlets, etc so that I can just grab it all and plop it into another bag…all those in the pictures are empty…
HOWEVER, if you think that my purse collection is over the top…then you really SHOULD see my lipgloss collection!!!!

Cat, I joke with Danny that our future children will have to move downstairs before I would ever give up my shoe and purse closet…I don’t know what I would do!! I don’t like the idea of downsizing!!!

after re-reading and drooling over these pics, I’ve picked out my favorites…
1) Black gigi – obviously
2) The plum one. I got a coach catalogue that had this amazing patent plum bag, that I can’t remember the name of, and your plum bag makes my heart flutter.
I also love how your coach boxes, both brown and pink are neatly stacked on the shelf in your closet…..I’ve kept my one and only coach box too!!

sigh…I hate being so student poor
All my bags (and most of my shoes) come from Walmart…I really want to be fashionable but so hard when you can only spend a few dollars on “extras”
