So I DID pull out the Wii Fit last night and I managed to get a good sweat on in 40 minutes…I did mostly cardio and balance. I find a lot of the balance games fun, except that I don’t really feel like I am getting much out of them…so I made sure to push past the 30 minutes I originally said I would do to get in a little extra cardio in the form of step, boxing and super hula…HOLY CRAP! That super hula was CRAZY!!! I wasn’t really “feeling” it because I am favoring one side of my back from sleeping on an air mattress while camping this past weekend…BUT I did super awesome on the hula!! It told me I was a “Calorie Incinerator”! WOO!!! I will definitely be hopping on for a little play time tonight!
Other than that we took an almost 2 hour walk with the dog and my niece. It was really nice out until about 9 pm and we started getting eaten alive by bugs!!! It was ridiculous!! We didn’t walk the entire time, but I would say that we were walking for about 1.5 hours or so (we had to drop something off at a friend’s house so we sat and chatted for a while). My niece was so quiet and shy around my friends and then we got her home and she was a little firecracker!! I love that kid!!
Eats yesterday were great! Seriously, I was really happy with myself. This is one of the first times in a LONG time that I didn’t overeat! Everything I had was delicious and filling, I was going to have a snack when I got home from the walk, but I just opted for my planned mini ice cream sandwich instead and hopped on the wii fit…perfect!!
I wish I had something fabulous and exciting to talk about, but I don’t!!
Today’s Menu:
Breakfast: 2 pcs toast w/pb, 1 cup milk (I need to get up earlier to make something different!)
Snack: Thinsations Cheesecake Bar (trying to use up my ”junk”)
Lunch: Leftovers (4 oz roast, 3/4 cup potatoes, 3/4 cup green beans, 1/2 cup gravy)
Snack: apple and 100 cal chocolate covered pretzels – I forgot my cheese
Dinner: 2 blue menu smokies, mccain oven fries and chopped veggies with a dab of hummus
Dessert: 100 cal Oreo ice cream bar
OOOH, I noticed today is FULL of 100 cal packs/bars…hopefully I will use them all up soon!
Exercise: 30 day Shred, 1/2 hour of wii fit – would love a walk but I don’t think I can fit it in tonight…

Great job Jen! I really want to get dance dance revolution so that I can get my dance on and burn some calories at the same time….
I wish I had a neice or a puppy to walk! We’re both on fire! Gym for me tonight…gonna break out some new itunes and sweat myself crazy!

I really want to get wii active – I hear you can really get a workout on – more ‘lifelike’ than the ‘gamey wii fit’
