			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today was one of those days that I just NEEDED chocolate. There are times that you want it, sometimes you THINK you need it and times that you NEED it!!!</p>
<p>FOR ME, that time is &#8220;THAT&#8221; time&#8230;you know?</p>
<p>I went off the pill back in May and, personally, I think that is one of the worst decisions I have ever made&#8230;I am SERIOUSLY tempted to go BACK on the pill (I even have the prescription in hand).</p>
<p>Let me be the first to say, I am not a wuss. I have a ridiculously high pain tolerance and I am usually the one to just &#8220;suck it up&#8221;. Since May, that has been damn near impossible.</p>
<p>I have been calling in sick one day per month so I could just scream in pain in the comfort of my own home &#8211; it is uncomfortable to sit, stand, walk, bend over backwards, curl in a fetal position, stand on my head, you name it, I have tried it to no avail.</p>
<p>I got the &#8220;surprise&#8221; at work today and I popped 2 extra strength tylenol, followed by a Mars bar that I would have killed somebody for if I didn&#8217;t have $1.75 in my purse or if the machine had eaten my money. Luckily for me (and for all those involved), the process went smoothly and WOW! An hour later and I am sitting here pain free and happy&#8230;imagine that!!!</p>
<p>Now I feel like I can actually GO home and make the somewhat healthy (at least not take out) meal that I had planned for the evening, I can hop on the Wii and do my days workout for the 30 day challenge (which is going great!) and I can possibly fit in an hour long walk for the dog. Even better is that I re-arranged my day to fit IN that chocolate bar!! How sweet is that??</p>
<p>Anyway, I should also note here that I saw ANOTHER loss on the scale this weekend, much smaller than last weeks and smaller than what I saw in the middle of last week, but still, 3 lbs is nothing to cry about!</p>
<p>On that note though, my goals for this week are to: 1) not look at the scale during the week and 2) to pack my lunches and plan my outfits the night before (I am just hating the &#8220;rush&#8221; in the morning!!)</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s Menu (it&#8217;s not the GREATEST)</p>
<p>Breakfast: Carnation instant breakfast</p>
<p>Snack: 100 cal cheese nips</p>
<p>Lunch: 2/3 cup leftover beercan chicken, 3/4 cup potatoes and 1 cup asparagus, mini aero bar (STILL needed chocolate!)</p>
<p>Snack: Mars Bar (heaven!)</p>
<p>Dinner: Blue menu hamburger on thin bun with cheddar and 1 ready crisp bacon strip, 1.5 cups salad</p>
<p>Dessert: not sure &#8211; maybe a cookie or a leftover tart&#8230;</p>
<p>Exercise: Wii Active</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>WOW!! Where does all the time go!!! I swear my days are just melting into one!!!</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t had much time for posting. I was training the new receptionist at work and then the weekend was fairly busy, but mostly I just stayed away from the computer (I needed some relaxation time!). Then now I am still away from my desk but finally reconnected to the world!!! It&#8217;s nice!</p>
<p>Anyway&#8230;so this weekend was alright. I didn&#8217;t work out NEARLY as much as I would like (NONE until Monday) and I ate out on Friday night and Sunday for lunch AND dinner. HOWEVER, I made decent choices (except for Sunday lunch, not SO great &#8211; BBQ Bacon Burger with Yam fries!!!!) but I felt good about it all around&#8230;and now I am making up for it this week with eating well and exercising daily.</p>
<p>I snuck a peek on the scale today (I usually do mid-week, though I need to stop it!!!) Although the number was GREAT and kept me motivated to get through the day!!! I really love the feeling when you know you have control hey??</p>
<p>My goals this week are:</p>
<p> to exercise on all weekdays plus one weekend day.</p>
<p>Drink at LEAST 80 oz of water.</p>
<p>Stick to my calorie budget while making tasty meals!!</p>
<p>Pretty easy if I do say so myself!!</p>
<p>I think that&#8217;s all I have got for today!! Still busy at work!!!</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s Menu:</p>
<p>Breakfast: Liberte vanilla yogurt with granola and raspberries</p>
<p>Snack: Crispy mini snack pack</p>
<p>Lunch: Veggie sandwich with cream of broccoli and cheddar soup</p>
<p>Dinner: Chicken Stirfry (with lots of veggies!!!) over noodles and maybe a side of fresh bread</p>
<p>Dessert: maybe a thin bar?? I have tons at home!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I didn&#8217;t get a chance to post today because I had to zip into work early&#8230;of course, I didn&#8217;t actually make it to work THAT much earlier because I had to run an errand and, well, it just didn&#8217;t work!!!</p>
<p>Ordinarily I would use mornings like today to pick up McDonalds and eat breakfast at work&#8230;I decided though that I would rather have the planned tacos for dinner and have a twix bar I bought while grocery shopping for dessert&#8230;seriously, I don&#8217;t mean to go on and on about a great week&#8230;but it has been pretty darn good!!!</p>
<p>I was training the new receptionist at work today which is another reason why I didn&#8217;t get a chance to post. It was nice to have a steady day since sometimes I don&#8217;t always have enough work to fill up the day.</p>
<p>I also have a little &#8220;project&#8221; for work this weekend&#8230;if I can pull it off, it&#8217;s going to mean some pretty great things for me and for my future, not only with the company&#8230;I am hoping it all pans out!!!</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t think I will get a chance to post tomorrow as I am still training&#8230;but I am STILL staying accountable&#8230;I also think I will post one day on the weekend (I rarely do that)&#8230;yes, yes, I think that would be wonderful!</p>
<p>Like I said, I am keeping in touch to say that this week is STILL going wonderful&#8230;I forgot how great this felt!!</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s menu:</p>
<p>Breakfast: 2 pcs toast w/ pb, 1 cup milk (yes, that&#8217;s right)</p>
<p>Lunch: Shrimp with piri piri sauce, green and red peppers and red onion over 4 cheese risotto, sf jello chocolate pudding</p>
<p>Snack: 24 g maui wowee skinny sticks (I was STARVING!!!)</p>
<p>Dinner: 2 small flour tortillas, 2 oz lean ground beef, 1/3 cup refried beans, 20g light cheese, tomatoes, 2 Tbsp sour cream and 1.5 cups southwest salad on the side</p>
<p>Dessert: TWIX! YUMMY!!!!</p>
<p>Exercise: Wii Active</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I picked this title because this would ordinarily be my sabotage day&#8230;what is a sabotage day?? Funny you should ask <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Every time that I feel like I will buckle down and &#8220;do it&#8221; &#8211; I ALWAYS sabotage myself mid-week. I am not sure if it&#8217;s because I feel like because I have been doing so well that I feel the need to sabotage, or usually its because I step on the scale, see that I have been doing well/badly and throw caution to the wind and either reward myself, or if I was doing badly, just say &#8220;eff it&#8221;.</p>
<p>This morning I stepped on the scale and saw a pretty decent number&#8230;especially since I really have only been &#8220;back in the game&#8221; for about two days. And today I had the opportunity to sabotage myself because we were going out for lunch for a coworkers birthday.</p>
<p>Anyway, given the opportunity, I decided &#8220;eff it&#8221; &#8211; I did NOT put in all this hard work this week AND before to throw it down the drain. I ordered a grilled chicken pita with a side of tomato soup. When the meal came, they had my soup on the side and had added fries to the plate. This would ordinarily be a moment where I would say &#8220;screw it&#8221; and eat all the fries. But I DIDN&#8217;T!!!! I counted out 8 fries (good ones of course) and those were all I ate, and I counted them all!</p>
<p>Seriously, it feels good to have control again&#8230;last night I decided that I didn&#8217;t need TWO smokies &#8211; so I only had one but had a couple more fries. Then I decided to wait until later to have dessert because I had to run to my Dad&#8217;s. I DIDN&#8217;T get a chance to do the 30 day Shred &#8211; I know, that&#8217;s pretty bad. But instead i pulled out the Wii Fit for 45 minutes (super hula, advanced step and boxing &#8211; and about 6 minutes of balance followed by a couple of yoga poses). I also played around with EA Active a little bit as well and decided to do the 30 day challenge on that. So I DO feel like I got in a bit of activity.</p>
<p>OH and dessert. So I postponed dessert and was going to have a cupcake when I got home (leftovers from my friends&#8217; wedding) but then I was like &#8220;well, i have had a LOT of cupcakes lately&#8221; (between the two weddings) and I would have to guesstimate, so instead I grabbed a small cone from McDonald&#8217;s on the way home from my dad&#8217;s. Not the BEST choice, but seriously, I felt like I was treating myself and I TOTALLY fit it into my day!! It felt like a bit of an indulgence without taking it too far!</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s Menu:</p>
<p>Breakfast: same old &#8211; 2 pcs toast, 1 Tbsp light pb, 1 cup milk (I NEED to stop sleeping late!)</p>
<p>Lunch: Chicken pita, 1 cup tomato soup w/2 crackers, 8 french fries</p>
<p>Snack: Apple and single serving Edam cheese, possibly 100 cal Sweet and Salty bar if I have to wait long at the doctors office.</p>
<p>Dinner: Beef stew and 2 biscuits (YUM!)</p>
<p>Dessert: 100 Cal Oreo ice cream bar</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I DID pull out the Wii Fit last night and I managed to get a good sweat on in 40 minutes&#8230;I did mostly cardio and balance. I find a lot of the balance games fun, except that I don&#8217;t really feel like I am getting much out of them&#8230;so I made sure to push past the 30 minutes I originally said I would do to get in a little extra cardio in the form of step, boxing and super hula&#8230;HOLY CRAP! That super hula was CRAZY!!! I  wasn&#8217;t really &#8220;feeling&#8221; it because I am favoring one side of my back from sleeping on an air mattress while camping this past weekend&#8230;BUT I did super awesome on the hula!! It told me I was a &#8220;Calorie Incinerator&#8221;! WOO!!! I will definitely be hopping on for a little play time tonight!</p>
<p>Other than that we took an almost 2 hour walk with the dog and my niece. It was really nice out until about 9 pm and we started getting eaten alive by bugs!!! It was ridiculous!! We didn&#8217;t walk the entire time, but I would say that we were walking for about 1.5 hours or so (we had to drop something off at a friend&#8217;s house so we sat and chatted for a while). My niece was so quiet and shy around my friends and then we got her home and she was a little firecracker!! I love that kid!!</p>
<p>Eats yesterday were great! Seriously, I was really happy with myself. This is one of the first times in a LONG time that I didn&#8217;t overeat! Everything I had was delicious and filling, I was going to have a snack when I got home from the walk, but I just opted for my planned mini ice cream sandwich instead and hopped on the wii fit&#8230;perfect!!</p>
<p>I wish I had something fabulous and exciting to talk about, but I don&#8217;t!!</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s Menu:</p>
<p>Breakfast: 2 pcs toast w/pb, 1 cup milk (I need to get up earlier to make something different!)</p>
<p>Snack: Thinsations Cheesecake Bar (trying to use up my &#8221;junk&#8221;)</p>
<p>Lunch: Leftovers (4 oz roast, 3/4 cup potatoes, 3/4 cup green beans, 1/2 cup gravy)</p>
<p>Snack: apple and 100 cal chocolate covered pretzels &#8211; I forgot my cheese <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Dinner: 2 blue menu smokies, mccain oven fries and chopped veggies with a dab of hummus</p>
<p>Dessert: 100 cal Oreo ice cream bar</p>
<p>OOOH, I noticed today is FULL of 100 cal packs/bars&#8230;hopefully I will use them all up soon!</p>
<p>Exercise: 30 day Shred, 1/2 hour of wii fit &#8211; would love a walk but I don&#8217;t think I can fit it in tonight&#8230;</p>
